Old school meets New school

Zardosi embroidery dates back to the Moghul period (11th and 12th century).

I started the tThe øther to honor the complexity of multicultural roots, the stories of where we come from, and to celebrate individuality and dynamic identities boldly. I am using tThe øther to transcends boundaries and borders to connect us with the unique stories and expressions that help us- how we find belonging, how we find harmony within our multidimensional selves, and walking away from standards not designed for a dynamic and vibrant world. With the other, I use traditional techniques in unexpected ways to shine a light on the artistry and craft that have long underpinned incredible fashion and I use it as a medium to tell stories of identity and belonging. Fashion has always been a vehicle for personal and creative expression. It has always been my medium of choice.
